Partner Terms

These terms govern the Spartan Sheds partner programme. By applying to become a partner and ticking the agreement box on the application form, you agree to be bound by these terms. The agreement starts when we approve your application and ends when it is terminated under section 10.

We pay you commission of 5% of the order value on qualifying orders, where order value means the amount the customer pays excluding VAT and excluding any delivery surcharges (for example remote-area delivery charges).

A qualifying order is one attributed to you under section 3.

When a customer visits your unique partner link (typically by scanning your QR code), a referral cookie is set on their device, valid for 30 days.

An order counts as yours if and only if it was placed with your referral cookie present. That is, the order was completed within 30 days of the customer visiting your unique link, on the same device and browser. Orders placed without your cookie present do not qualify, regardless of any other claim (for example, a customer saying they saw your sign but ordering on a different device).

This automated attribution record is final and is not subject to manual review.

Your commission balance has two states:

• Pending: the order has been placed but the customer's payment is still processing (for example, awaiting delivery-day payment or card settlement).
• Confirmed: we have received cleared funds for the order.

Only Confirmed commission is payable. Pending commission becomes Confirmed automatically when the customer's payment clears.

• Payouts are made at the end of each calendar month.
• The minimum payout is £100 of Confirmed commission. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.
• Payouts are made via Stripe to your connected account.

If a customer cancels their order or is refunded before the related commission has been paid out, that commission is removed from your balance.

If the cancellation or refund happens after the commission has been paid out, Spartan Sheds absorbs the cost, unless the cancellation resulted from your own conduct (for example, promises made to the customer on our behalf), in which case we may deduct the amount from future commission or invoice you for it.

If a payout fails because the information you gave us is wrong or out of date, we will contact you. You then have 30 days to correct it so the payout can be re-attempted.

This partnership is non-exclusive. You are free to work with any other company, including other shed retailers, and we are free to work with other partners.

If your partner link receives zero scans for 6 consecutive months, either party may treat the partnership as inactive and terminate it under section 10.

• Either party may end this agreement at any time, for any reason, in writing (email is sufficient).
• Your partner link deactivates immediately on termination.
• Any Confirmed commission you have earned is paid within 60 days of termination (the £100 minimum does not apply to this final payment).
• You must stop displaying Spartan Sheds marketing materials after termination.

While this agreement is in force: you grant Spartan Sheds the right to display your business name and logo on the partner version of the shed builder and in a list of our partners; and Spartan Sheds grants you the right to display the marketing materials we provide in your premises. Both licences end automatically at termination.

Every shed sale is a contract solely between the customer and Spartan Sheds. Spartan Sheds is responsible for the product, its delivery and its installation. You have no liability for product or installation issues, and no authority to make promises, give guarantees or vary terms on Spartan Sheds' behalf.

Referral tracking uses a functional cookie for attribution only. You receive aggregate order data (order reference, order value and your commission) and never the customer's personal details. Each party is responsible for its own compliance with UK data protection law.

This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
